Powerlifting - Levelland Meet

On Saturday, February 10, Dimmitt Powerlifting participated in the Levelland Invitational Powerlifting Meet.  This large meet consisted of 412 lifters from over 30 schools travelling from as far as Dalhart and Odessa ranging from 1a to 6a.  As a whole the Bobbies finished 4th as a team, with Plainview taking first, Odessa 2nd and Seagraves finishing 3rd.  The goal at this meet was to focus on personal best and qualifying . . .

RES Book Fair February 19-22

On the week of February, Monday 19th - Thursday 22nd Richardson Elementary School will have a "Buy One, Get One FREE Book Fair".  The book fair will take place in the RES library from 8:00am - 4:00pm.  Purchases for books can be make by cash or credit card.  If you have questions about the Book Fair please contact our school office at 806-647-4131.  Thank you for supporting our school!

DHS and DMS Student Councils attend District Convention

      On February 7, both DHS and DMS Student Councils attended their District Convention in Amarillo at the Civic Center auditorium.  Over 50 high schools and middle schools from across the panhandle were represented. Students had a chance to cast their vote for a new officer school for president, vice president and secretary.  They also had the opportunity to hear from our State Senator . . .

RES 100th Day of School

On February 1st students, teachers, and support staff celebrated the 100th day of school.  Many students and teachers dressed up as if they were 100 years old.  Some celebrated the 100th day of school by wearing shirts, costumes, and making hats.  We want to thank parents, teachers, students, and support staff that worked hard to make this a special day.

  Lubbock Texas, February 3, 2018 Veteran team #12398 participated in the panhandle championship meet at Lubbock High. There were 12 total teams and this team finished 7th in league. The Big Cheese

The Big Cheese is a benefit for the Hope and Healing Place in Amarillo that assist people that are terminally ill to end of life and provides support to families. We served about 2,200 and helped to raise over $55,000.   About the contest, this year there was a high school division with 4 regional schools that participated. Bobcat Powerlifting

  Saturday, January 27, Dimmitt hosted an invitational Powerlifting meet.  The meet consisted of 14 schools, 28 teams, 168 lifters, over 50 table officials, spotters, and volunteers, 12 judges, 4 racks, and multiple coaches, spectators, family and friends.  Dimmitt received numerous compliments regarding the professionalism, hospitality and success of the meet.  Thank you all for your help in making Dimmitt's . . .
